Apollo 8

The question
What did Apollo 8 achieve before humans first landed on the Moon?
- Landed a rover
- Collected lunar rocks
- Carried the first humans into lunar orbit(correct answer)
The answer: Carried the first humans into lunar orbit
Launched on 21 December 1968, Apollo 8 carried Frank Borman, Jim Lovell and Bill Anders to the Moon. They became the first humans to orbit it, circling ten times over about 20 hours and seeing the far side with their own eyes, then returned safely — seven months before Apollo 11 landed.
